Site Traffic Yard Simulation

Site Traffic Yard Simulation is a unique tool. A module within CLASS, it enables warehouse managers to quantify vehicle turnaround issues and test options for improving vehicle movements across the site before it is built or, in the case of existing centres, without disruption to on-going operations.

The technology allows users to assess the physical layout of the site, the phasing of activity and the scheduling of vehicles onto docks. Its powerful cross-dock logic quickly reveals the potential bottlenecks and capacity issues associated with change in throughput; proposals to handle these can then be tried out in a series of ‘What if?’ scenarios until the best solution is found.
